Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna defence public-sector company under the Ministry of Defence, is hiring Senior Engineers for its Export Manufacturing Strategic Business Unit at the Bangalore Complex. The work is split across software, embedded electronics and three-dimensional visual software, linking engineering development directly with export manufacturing programmes. Posts and Disciplines

• Database and Software Development: Computer Science engineers may work as database administrators or full-stack Java developers supporting web and standalone applications.

Post-wise Duties

Database and Software Development

You may design and maintain database architecture, objects, ETL processes and dashboards, with attention to performance, governance and reliable data handling. The notice also points to business intelligence, statistical analysis, visualisation and work with MSSQL, Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL and PL/SQL.

A full-stack assignment can involve Java and React user interfaces for browser-based and standalone systems. You may connect applications to technical hardware, manage APIs and data-transfer objects, and turn engineering data into practical application features.

Embedded System Development

You will contribute to embedded electronics and system-development work for the Export Manufacturing SBU. The role suits engineers who can move between design, integration, debugging and documentation while working with production and project teams.

Because BEL products operate in a controlled defence-manufacturing setting, you should be ready to follow configuration, quality and information-security practices and maintain traceable engineering records.

3D Visual Software Development

You will develop or support three-dimensional visual software used by technical teams. The work can include transforming engineering requirements into visual modules, testing their behaviour and coordinating fixes with other software and product groups.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Fixed tenure: the initial engagement is for five years and may be extended by two years; extension depends only on individual performance and project requirements.
• Work location: the posts belong to the Bangalore Complex, and the written assessment will also be held in Bengaluru.
• Discipline match: your degree title or specialisation must match one of the notified Electronics or Computer Science branches; a differently named course may be rejected.
• Marks conversion: if your university uses CGPA or another grading system, you need to state the official conversion method in the application.
• Same-day assessment: all notified job codes share the same written-test and interview schedule, so you should choose the code that best matches your experience.
• Shortlisting: clearing the written test does not itself guarantee an interview; BEL will shortlist from test performance in the stated ratio after checking eligibility and reservation conditions.
