Andaman and Nicobar Islands Integrated Development Corporation Limited (ANIIDCO) is engaging a Senior Consultant in Urban Planning, Design or Mobility on a part-time basis. You will advise ANIIDCO and the Andaman and Nicobar Administration on projects being carried out with Government of India guidance. The engagement brings specialist advice into project planning and implementation, with attention to the local needs of the islands.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: The initial engagement runs for three years. ANIIDCO may extend it by one year at a time, with a maximum total tenure of five years, depending on its project requirements.
• Work arrangement: You may work from mainland India. However, you must be available to visit Sri Vijaya Puram or other parts of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands when the work calls for it.
• Project setting: The consultancy supports different projects and initiatives handled by ANIIDCO. Your advice will sit alongside the work of other consultants and help the corporation make technical decisions suited to the islands.
• Scope of engagement: This is a part-time advisory assignment. The notice links the engagement to specialist services for projects, so the mainland work option comes with an obligation to support those projects and attend required visits.
• Interview travel: If you attend in person, you must meet your own travel and daily expenses. ANIIDCO will not reimburse travel or daily allowance for attending the interview.
• Changes to the drive: The corporation can change the number of expert or consultant positions. It also keeps the right to withdraw or cancel the recruitment at any stage.
