Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), Dibrugarh is recruiting project nurses and scientists for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) sponsored study in its Department of Pediatrics. The multicentre implementation study concerns care for babies born preterm or with low birth weight, including early respiratory support, kangaroo mother care, mother-newborn care units, antenatal steroids and early enteral feeding. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Benefits: Regular-staff facilities such as provident fund, pension, leave travel concession, medical claim and staff quarters do not apply. Leave follows ICMR project-staff policy.
• Research registration: The notice does not permit people engaged in these project positions to register for a PhD because of the time commitment.
• Travel and stay: You must arrange your own transport and accommodation. No travel or daily allowance is payable for attending.
• Contract changes: ICMR can end an engagement during its agreed or extended period and can change or cancel the recruitment. The competent authority makes the final decision.
