All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna (AIIMS Patna) has issued Ref. No. 1/AIIMSPBFI/2026-27 for recruitment in its Medtech Incubation Centre. The centre is meant to support medical and healthcare innovators, startups, academia, and industry partners. This is a project-mode incubation role for professionals who can manage healthcare innovation, startup support, compliance, and research-linked operations at AIIMS Patna.

Who Can Apply?

For Head (Incubation Centre)

• Qualification: You need a PhD in Life Sciences, or MBBS, or first-class B.Tech / M.Sc in Life Sciences, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Biomedical, IT, or an equivalent field.
• Experience: You need 4 years with PhD, 6 years with MBBS/M.Tech, or 12 years with M.Sc/B.Tech.
• Relevant Area: Your experience should be in a reputed scientific organisation, R&D setup, bio-incubator, or research management.
• Useful Background: Experience in business management, intellectual property, or project management will help.

For Coordinator

• Qualification: You need a PhD, first-class postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, Business Administration, Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferred Experience: Priority is given to applicants with 2 to 3 years of prior incubation centre experience.
• Work Fit: You should be comfortable with startup documentation, regulatory coordination, procurement records, events, outreach, and reporting.

Age Limit

• Head (Incubation Centre): Maximum age is 52 years.
• Coordinator: Maximum age is 45 years.

Salary

• Head (Incubation Centre): Rs. 1,20,000 per month, consolidated.

Appointment Terms
