The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur, one of India's premier medical institutions, has released a recruitment notice (File No. AIIMS/JDH/2026/03/PMR-117) for 1 Project Technical Support-III (Gait Technician) position. This is a purely temporary post under the ICMR-funded extramural research project titled "Holistic Healing for Knee Osteoarthritis: Comparing Integrated, Standard Medical, and Ayurvedic Care". The position is in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation under Principal Investigator Dr. Nitesh Manohar Gonnade, Additional Professor.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (Either of the following)

• Bachelor's in Physiotherapy (BPT) with 2 years of post-qualification experience
• BSc in Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, Exercise and Sports Science

Desirable Qualification

• Prior experience in a Gait Lab, Movement Lab, or Research setting
• Proficiency in 3D motion capture systems

All qualifications must be from a recognized Board or University and completed full-time. Experience must be post-qualification.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years
• Age relaxation: Candidates with prior experience in research projects may get age concession on a case-by-case basis
• Age, qualification, and experience will be counted as on the last date of the advertisement

Salary

• Monthly salary: Rs. 28,000/- (consolidated)
• HRA: 20% additional (Rs. 5,600/-)
• Total monthly pay: Rs. 33,600/- approximately
• The salary is a consolidated sum. No other benefits are included

Tenure

• Initial appointment for 6 months
• Extendable till the completion of the project (total project duration is 3 years) after annual performance assessment
• The post is co-terminus with the project — you cannot claim permanent employment at AIIMS Jodhpur
