All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Vijaypur, Jammu — an institute of national importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare — has released Advertisement No. AIIMS/JMU/BHISHM/02 dated 23 March 2026. This recruitment is for the BHISHM project funded by MoHFW under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). Who Can Apply?

Technician

You need any one of the following qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Techniques from a recognized institute + 2 years experience as Radiographer
• Diploma in Radiological Imaging Techniques from a recognized institute + 3 years experience as Radiographer
• B.Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology from a recognized institute + 2 years experience as Medical Technician

Data Entry Operator (DEO)

• Graduate with Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institute
• 2 years of relevant experience in health programme
• Working knowledge of computer applications, filing, indexing, drafting, and document management

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 32 years (for both posts)
• Age calculated as on the last date of application (5 April 2026)

Salary

• Technician: Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated)
• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
• No additional allowances beyond the consolidated salary

• Assist in operating medical equipment such as X-ray machines, ECG machines, and other diagnostic devices, and handle their maintenance
• Conduct monthly checks of all battery-operated and diagnostic equipment, including RFID-tagged devices
• Support in performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as per medical requirements
• Collect, label, and prepare biological samples for testing or analysis
• Handle proper storage, handling, and disposal of specimens, reagents, and medical supplies
• Enter, update, and manage data accurately in prescribed systems and formats
• Maintain records, logs, and databases in an organized and accessible manner
• Support the maintenance, deployment, operation, and demobilization of BHISHM Cubes as per institute-specific SOPs
