AECS Hyderabad Teaching Staff Recruitment 2026

Atomic Energy Central Schools (AECS) Hyderabad, an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is hiring teaching staff for its two schools — AECS-1 and AECS-2 — located at DAE Colony, ECIL Post, Hyderabad. These are contract positions for the academic session starting 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. Vacancies will be filled as they arise during the year against leave and regular openings. The selection is through Skill Test and Demo Teaching Class — there is no written exam. Candidates are selected through three separate panels based on their qualifications.

Posts Available

• Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): English, Social Science, Hindi/Sanskrit, Maths/Physics, Chemistry/Biology, Computer Science
• Primary Teacher (PRT): General, Telugu, Music
• Balvatika Teacher (BVT): Pre-primary / Nursery level

Three selection panels are formed:

• Panel-I: Candidates with all required qualifications including CTET (for TGT, PRT & BVT)
• Panel-II: Candidates without CTET (for TGT & PRT only)
• Panel-III: Candidates without teaching qualification like B.Ed/D.El.Ed (for TGT, PRT & BVT)

Who Can Apply?

For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):

• Qualification: You need a 3-year Bachelor's / Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized university, plus a B.Ed degree.
• Alternatively, a 4-year integrated Bachelor's Degree with B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
• CTET: You must have qualified CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE (required for Panel-I).
• Note: Candidates without B.Ed but with 60%+ marks in Science or 55%+ in Humanities at graduation level may be considered if qualified candidates are unavailable.

For TGT (Computer Science):

• B.Sc (Computer Science) / B.Sc (IT) / BCA with at least 50% marks, OR
• B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering) with at least 50% marks, OR
• 'A' Level from DOEACC with 50% marks plus graduation in any subject
• Plus B.Ed with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution

For Primary Teacher (PRT):

• Qualification: You need 12th (Senior Secondary) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institution.
• Alternatively, 12th with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed degree.
• CTET: You must have qualified CTET Paper-I (required for Panel-I).
• You must be proficient in teaching through Hindi and English medium.

For PRT (Telugu):

• 12th with 50% marks with Telugu as a subject at +2 level, and D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
• Must have proficiency in teaching Telugu as 2nd/3rd language up to Class VIII and knowledge of Telugu grammar.

For PRT (Music):

• 12th with 50% marks from a recognized board, AND
• Bachelor's Degree in Music/Performing Arts with music studied as the main subject in all years.
• Note: Candidates with only a Diploma in Music are not eligible.

For Balvatika Teacher (BVT):

• Qualification: 12th with at least 50% marks with English as a subject at +2 level.
• Plus a Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education (D.E.C.Ed) of at least 2 years, or B.Ed (Nursery) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• Working knowledge of computers is required.
• Must be proficient in teaching in English medium.

Desirable for all posts: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Age Limit

• For BVT and PRT: Maximum age is 30 years as on 01 April 2026.
• For TGT: Maximum age is 35 years as on 01 April 2026.
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation in upper age limit
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation
• Women: 10 years relaxation
• Physically Challenged: As per Government of India norms
• Retired Teachers from KVS/NVS/AEES are eligible if below 65 years of age.
• Note: Only one relaxation (the highest) will be granted if you are eligible for more than one category.

Salary

• BVT and PRT: Rs. 27,625 per month (consolidated, with applicable TDS)
• TGT: Rs. 34,125 per month (consolidated, with applicable TDS)
• These are contract positions for the academic year 2026-27 (April 2026 to March 2027).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written examination for this recruitment. Selection is based on:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic marks — graduation marks for TGT and 12th marks for PRT and BVT.
2. Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a skill test at AECS-2, Hyderabad.
3. Demo Teaching Class (Practical Classroom Observation): You will present on a topic you have prepared, and also present on another topic picked randomly from a box on the spot.
4. Document Verification: Original documents of all qualifications must be produced on the day of the skill test.

3. Attach attested photocopies of all mark sheets (Intermediate, Graduation, B.Ed, CTET, etc.).
4. Apply against the appropriate link separately for Panel-I, Panel-II, and Panel-III.
5. Submit separate applications if you are applying for more than one post.
6. Report on the scheduled skill test date at AECS-2, Hyderabad, DAE Colony, D-Sector Gate, ECIL Post, Hyderabad - 500062 between 8:00 AM and 12 Noon with all original documents.

Note: Applications received after the due date will be rejected. No email applications will be accepted. No TA/DA is provided for attending the skill test.
