ZP Janjgir-Champa Computer Programmer and Accountant Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Zila Panchayat Janjgir-Champa in Chhattisgarh is hiring a Computer Programmer and Accountants (Lekhapal) on contract for the Viksit Bharat – Rozgar aur Ajeevika ke liye Guarantee Mission (Gramin), known as VB-G RAM G. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Domicile: You must be a native resident of Chhattisgarh and attach a residence certificate from the competent authority.
• Contract term: The contract runs for one year. It may be renewed one year at a time based on your work, your annual performance appraisal and conduct.
• Service rules: The jobs follow the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules, 2012; leave is allowed under those rules, and the Conduct Rules, 1965 apply to you.
• Notice period: Either side can end the contract with one month's notice or one month's pay instead.
• No retirement benefits: No pension, gratuity or death benefit is paid for contract service.
• Experience marks: Experience counts only if it was in a government rural development scheme on at least the same pay scale.
• Skill test shortlist: If many people apply, up to 10 candidates per post are called for the skill test or interview in merit order. Missing the computer practical test cancels your candidature.
• Grades instead of marks: If your marksheet shows only a grade, the average of that grade's band is used (for example, an A grade of 80-90% is counted as 85%).
• Tie-break: When two candidates score the same, the older candidate is placed higher.
• Documents are final: Only the certificates you attach to the original application earn marks; papers sent later during claims and objections are not accepted.
• Government employees: If you already work in a government body, apply through proper channel with a No Objection Certificate.
• Disqualifications: Anyone dismissed from government service for misconduct, anyone who married below the legal minimum age, or anyone married to a person with a living spouse is not eligible.
