TN Prisons Sanitary Worker Recruitment 2026

TN Prisons Sanitary Worker Recruitment 2026: Overview

Coimbatore Central Prison, part of the Tamil Nadu Prisons and Correctional Services Department, is recruiting for Sanitary Worker posts at its Coimbatore premises. The prison superintendent has issued a short recruitment notice, with applications handled directly by the prison through the post.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Community roster: The notice identifies General Turn and Backward Class (OBCM) roster categories for this recruitment. Check the category wording in the original notice when preparing your application.
• Late receipt: The prison will not consider applications received after the closing date. Your application must reach the prison within the application window.
• Postal communication: Further communication will be sent by post to applicants who meet the stated requirements.

Application Submission Notes

Address your postal application to the Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Coimbatore-18. The notice uses this address for receipt at the prison; it does not direct you to an online application portal.

Receipt at the prison is what matters for the deadline, so allow for postal delivery time when you send your application. Posting it on the last date would not meet the stated condition unless it also reaches the prison in time.
