Tripura Institution for Transformation (TIFT) is building its governance, research, coordination and communications teams in Agartala. Set up under the Department of General Administration (Good Governance), the institution coordinates NITI Aayog initiatives in Tripura. These are contractual, consultant or project-linked engagements, with the exact arrangement decided by the competent authority.

Post-wise Duties

Senior Consultant – Governance Strategy and Public Affairs

Senior Consultant – Governance Strategy and Public Affairs: You will coordinate priority initiatives across departments and supervise monitoring and research teams. Your work includes reviewing dashboards and preparing material for senior decision-makers.

Consultant – Governance Monitoring and Coordination

Consultant – Governance Monitoring and Coordination: You will track flagship programmes, maintain review dashboards and follow up with departments. You will turn programme data into status notes and analytical briefs.

Governance Research Associate

Governance Research Associate: You will review laws, schemes and useful practices, then prepare research notes and briefing material. Departmental and field inputs will help you develop evidence for governance reviews.

Policy Research Associate

Policy Research Associate: You will research governance themes and maintain monitoring databases and indicator frameworks. You will use field data to highlight delays, gaps and trends for review meetings.

Executive Program Coordination Associate

Executive Program Coordination Associate: You will organize executive schedules, meeting agendas and follow-up records. Confidential correspondence, visitor coordination and time-sensitive communication also form part of the role.

Field Program Coordination Associate

Field Program Coordination Associate: You will coordinate field visits, consultations and programme events with departments and local stakeholders. You will gather implementation feedback and help resolve practical coordination problems.

Data and Documentation Program Coordination Associate

Data and Documentation Program Coordination Associate: You will keep programme databases, registers and document repositories up to date. You will check data entries, organize official records and prepare routine status statements.

Digital Communications Manager

Digital Communications Manager: You will supervise digital outreach, content calendars and publishing workflows. You will also monitor audience engagement and coordinate communication planning with governance and research teams.

Senior Content and Public Information Associate

Senior Content and Public Information Associate: You will draft public-information notes, speech inputs and awareness material. Your writing will support thematic campaigns alongside the digital and governance teams.

Communications Associate

Communications Associate: You will help prepare digital posts and communication material and support publishing schedules. You will maintain outreach trackers and assist public-awareness activities.

Multimedia Communications Associate

Multimedia Communications Associate: You will produce and edit communication videos and adapt them for digital platforms. The role also involves handling production requests with short turnaround times.

Creative Communications Associate

Creative Communications Associate: You will create graphics and visual material for governance outreach. You will coordinate campaign designs with the communications and multimedia teams.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: Engagement is for eleven months. Renewal depends on satisfactory performance, continued institutional need and approval from the competent authority.
• Appointment status: These engagements do not create a right to a regular job with TIFT or the Government of Tripura.
• Work base and travel: You will be based at TIFT in Agartala and may need to travel within or outside Tripura for field work.
• Reporting: You will work under the CEO of TIFT or an officer authorized by the CEO.
