SWSE Tripura State Commissioner Recruitment 2026: Overview
The Social Welfare and Social Education Department, Government of Tripura, is seeking a State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities. This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act and the state rules, including their latest amendment. The notice sets out a state-level appointment with specific terms for holding office.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Term of office: Your appointment runs for three years from the day you take charge, subject to the retirement ceiling set out in the notice. The state rules govern the appointment throughout this period.
- Repeat appointment: A person can hold the office for a maximum of two terms. A further term remains subject to the conditions in the rules.
- Consideration beyond applications: The committee may also consider willing people in Central or State Government employment who did not respond to this advertisement.
- Appointment authority: Sending an application does not give you a right to appointment. The State Government retains the final decision.
- Incomplete applications: The department will not consider an incomplete application or one received after the prescribed deadline. It will not exchange correspondence about accepting or rejecting applications.
- Changes to the exercise: The State Government may cancel, modify or extend the advertisement or the appointment process without giving a reason.
