SDAU JRF Horticulture Recruitment 2026: Overview
Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University (SDAU) is engaging Junior Research Fellows on contract at its College of Horticulture in Jagudan, Mehsana district. The notice links the fellowships to crop-protection evaluation projects involving pomegranate, rose and chilli. If you are considering this opening, the important distinction is that the appointments support these college projects and end under the project-tenure conditions.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project scope: The pomegranate study evaluates oxathiapiprolin with mandipropamid against fruit rots. The rose study evaluates fluopyram with trifloxystrobin, while the chilli study evaluates UPI 2377-002 against insect pests.
- Shared notice: These research projects appear together under the same Junior Research Fellow advertisement at Jagudan. The notice does not allocate individual fellowship places to particular projects.
- Tenure: Your appointment will last for 11 months or until the project work finishes, whichever happens first. It ends automatically when that limit is reached.
- Further employment: The university has no obligation to offer another job once this engagement ends. The contractual fellowship does not carry a promise of continued employment.
- Performance and conduct: Unsatisfactory performance or misconduct can lead to termination without advance notice, even before the agreed engagement period ends.
- College supervision: The Principal of the College of Horticulture, SDAU Jagudan, can assign work during the engagement.
- Attendance costs: You must meet your own expenses for attending the walk-in interview.
