Sports Authority of India (SAI) is hiring 15 Junior Engineers (Civil and Electrical) on a regular basis. There is a catch you must know first: this is not a fresh exam. Sports Authority of India (SAI) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, set up to develop and promote sports across the country. SAI has invited online applications to fill 15 regular Junior Engineer posts (current plus backlog vacancies) in Pay Matrix Level-6. Only SSC JE (Civil & Electrical) 2024 PDL candidates are eligible — applications are restricted to people already listed in that merit list. If your name and email are in the SAI list inside the notification, you can submit your application form online.

Vacancy Breakdown

There are 15 Junior Engineer posts in total, split category-wise as below:

• Unreserved (UR): 6 posts
• OBC: 4 posts
• SC: 3 posts
• EWS: 1 post
• ST: 1 post

1 post is reserved horizontally for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), which includes one post for Category-2 (Hard of Hearing).

Who Can Apply?

• Your name must appear in the SSC Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) Examination 2024 Public Disclosure List (PDL).
• You must apply using the email ID listed against your name in the notification table. If your email has changed, write to hrd2.sai@gov.in and itdivisionhq-sai@gov.in with the subject "Updation of Email ID for Junior Engineer Application 2026".
• The category you filled in your SSC JE application form will be treated as final.

Age Limit

• You must not have crossed 32 years of age as on 01 August 2024.
• This means you must have been born not earlier than 02 August 1992 and not later than 01 August 2006.
• Age Relaxation: Reservation and age relaxation for various categories apply as per Government of India and DoPT rules issued from time to time.

Salary

• You will be paid as per Pay Matrix Level-6 (7th Central Pay Commission), starting at Rs. 35,400 per month (going up to about Rs. 1,12,400).
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no fresh written exam. Selection works like this:

1. Eligibility from SSC JE 2024 PDL: Only candidates listed in the SSC JE (Civil & Electrical) 2024 Public Disclosure List, in a fixed ratio per category against available vacancies, are invited to apply.
2. Merit Order: Applicants are arranged in order of merit based on their SSC JE 2024 marks.
3. Offer of Appointment: Offer letters are issued as per the number of available vacancies and merit, subject to meeting eligibility.

Submitting the application form does not mean your candidature is finally accepted. Offers are issued strictly on merit and available vacancies.

• Ensure safety and compliance with engineering standards
