RVNL is a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, incorporated in 2003 to fast-track the creation and expansion of rail infrastructure across the country. The company handles large-scale projects like new lines, doubling, gauge conversion, electrification, and metro corridors. Through Vacancy Notice No. 2026/RVNL/41-FIN issued on 20 July 2026, RVNL is inviting applications for 5 Finance posts - 3 at its Corporate Office, 1 at Noida, and 1 at Chennai - for a deputation period of 5 years, subject to government approval for RVNL's exemption from the rule of immediate absorption. Preference will be given to officers who have worked in CPSEs or government organizations involved in executing infrastructure projects, since the role involves handling finance and accounts for large railway construction works.

Who Can Apply?

For Deputy General Manager (Finance) - Level-11 (CDA) / IDA E-4 (Rs. 70,000-2,00,000):

• You should be holding a post in an analogous CDA/IDA grade, or
• Be a Group B gazetted officer in Level-10/9 (CDA) with at least 4 years of service in Group B, or
• Hold a post in IDA E-3 grade (Rs. 60,000-1,80,000) for at least 4 years.

For Senior Manager (Finance) - Level-10 (CDA) / IDA E-3 (Rs. 60,000-1,80,000):

• You should be holding a post in an analogous CDA/IDA grade, or
• Be a Group B gazetted officer in Level-9 (CDA), or
• Hold a post in IDA E-2 grade (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000) for at least 4 years.

For Manager (Finance) - Level-8 (CDA) / IDA E-2 (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000):

• You should be holding a post in Level-8 (CDA), or
• Hold a post in IDA E-2 grade (Rs. 50,000-1,60,000), or
• Hold a post in IDA E-1 grade (Rs. 40,000-1,40,000) for at least 4 years.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in CPSEs or government organizations engaged in executing infrastructure projects. This recruitment is open only to eligible serving officers applying on deputation - freshers and candidates without a matching government/PSU background cannot apply.

Age Limit

• You should be below 56 years of age as on the closing date of the vacancy notice, i.e. 18 August 2026.

Salary

• Selected officers will draw their parent pay plus deputation allowance, which works out to approximately Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 2,00,000 per month depending on the grade (Level-8 to Level-11 CDA / IDA E-2 to E-4).
• You will also get deputation allowance and other benefits as admissible under the applicable deputation rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for this recruitment. RVNL will select officers as follows:

1. Application Screening: Your application, forwarded through proper channel along with vigilance/DAR clearance (confirming you are not facing any disciplinary or vigilance case) and your last 5 years' APAR grading (your annual performance appraisal record), will be checked against the eligibility criteria.
2. Selection: Officers found eligible will be considered for appointment based on merit and RVNL's organizational requirement.
