RCB Project JRF Recruitment 2026: Overview
Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad, wants one Project-Junior Research Fellow for a research project called Diet4Life. The project is building a new diet solution for Phenylketonuria (PKU), an inherited disorder where the body cannot break down the amino acid phenylalanine, so food choices matter for patients all their lives. This is a project-based fellowship, not a regular post. It starts with one year and can be extended after your work is reviewed.
The work is guided by Dr. Nidhi Adlakha, Associate Professor, who is the principal investigator. If you have an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, have cleared NET or a similar national JRF test, and enjoy lab work on proteins, this is a good first step towards a research career.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Tenure: The fellowship runs for one year at first and may be extended only after an evaluation of your work.
- Preferred profile: Hands-on experience in downstream extraction is highly desirable, and the notice also asks for skills in molecular biology tools, protein expression and protein engineering.
- Working style: The centre is looking for someone hardworking who works well in a team and has good interpersonal skills.
- Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be told by email to come for the in-person interview, so keep an eye on your inbox, including the spam folder.
- Place of work: RCB campus in the NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad, Haryana.
