RBU Part Time Coach Recruitment 2026: Overview
Rabindra Bharati University (RBU) is engaging part-time coaches for its Sports Department in Kolkata. The notice brings several sporting disciplines into the same recruitment, with a separate coaching role for each game. Your engagement will be temporary and part-time, with working hours arranged around the department's needs.
Posts and Disciplines
- Athletics: a coaching engagement in the university's Sports Department.
- Volleyball: a separate part-time coaching role for this game.
- Basketball: a sport-specific coaching engagement under the same notice.
- Kabaddi: a coaching role within the university's sports programme.
- Taekwondo: a separate discipline covered by this recruitment.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Initial term: The engagement starts with a one-year term. An extension or renewal may follow, depending on your performance.
- Regular appointment: This part-time work does not give you a claim to a regular university job when the term ends. If selected, you must provide an undertaking accepting this condition.
- Ending the engagement: The university can end the engagement without notice. Keep this condition in mind when considering the temporary appointment.
- Working hours: Your schedule can change with the Sports Department's requirements. The Sports Officer assigns the hours from time to time.
- Travel costs: RBU will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview or another part of recruitment.
- Contact details: Keep your email address and mobile number active. The university will use email or telephone for screening and interview communications, and the Sports Officer cannot take responsibility for messages missed because your details are incorrect or inactive.
