Service Conditions and Caveats

• Appointment term: The advertised deputation lasts for two years from your release by the parent office, or until the department no longer needs the appointment, whichever comes first. The end of the department's need can therefore bring the assignment to a close earlier.

• Experience relaxation: The commission may relax the experience condition for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe applicants if it considers that too few suitably experienced applicants are available for the relevant reserved openings. The notice requires written reasons for this decision.
• Acceptance and release: You must agree not to withdraw your candidature if selected. Your organisation must also confirm that it can release you immediately, or within thirty days, so the move needs coordination with your current office.
