NIT Warangal JRF Electrical Engineering Recruitment 2026: Overview
National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a project in its Department of Electrical Engineering in Telangana. Funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), the project focuses on a compact, high-power-density medium-voltage power module. Its design combines integrated gate drivers with series-connected, soft-switched silicon carbide metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (SiC MOSFETs). This is a temporary project engagement at an institute under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project tenure: The engagement can run for three years, but it ends sooner if the project closes. Your appointment therefore depends on the project's continuation.
- Performance review: The institute will assess your performance after three months. Keep this early review in mind when considering the project appointment.
- PhD registration: The selected fellow may seek admission to a PhD programme at NIT Warangal under its rules. You must apply separately when the institute opens its PhD advertisement; the fellowship itself does not complete that admission process.
- Travel costs: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview. You will need to account for those costs if an in-person interview is arranged.

B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering, with GATE qualification.
वांछित योग्यता
M.Tech in Electrical Engineering; knowledge of PCB design tools, circuit simulation tools such as LTspice, and 3D CAD modelling tools; working knowledge of C and Python.
