NCRTC Consultant Land and Acquisition Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a joint venture of the Government of India and the governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, working under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. It is hiring a Consultant for Land and Acquisition on contract. NCRTC builds the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), a high-speed commuter rail network that links towns across the National Capital Region.

The Delhi-Meerut corridor is already fully open for passengers, and this post supports the next line: the Delhi-Panipat-Karnal corridor. Your work will centre on land needed for that line in District Panipat, Haryana. This post is meant for retired senior revenue officers — NCRTC asks for your pension payment order or superannuation order, and you need long land acquisition service in Haryana.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: One year to start. NCRTC may extend it based on its needs and on how well you perform.
• Lump-sum pay: The post carries a single consolidated monthly amount, not a pay scale.
• Haryana service is essential: Land acquisition experience from other states does not replace the Haryana service NCRTC asks for. PSU land acquisition work is also part of the essential experience.
• Experience that does not count: Teaching or freelancing work is not treated as qualifying experience.
• Original documents on interview day: NCRTC checks your certificates before the interview. If you do not bring the originals, you will not be allowed to sit the interview.
• No date changes: NCRTC tells you the interview venue, date and time in advance and does not accept requests to change them.
• Medical fitness: You must be physically and medically fit.
• Disqualifications: Anyone earlier dismissed, removed or compulsorily retired from government, a PSU, a local authority or an autonomous body, or convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, cannot be appointed.
• Updates: Any corrigendum or time extension appears only in the Career section of the NCRTC website, not in newspapers.
• Jurisdiction: Disputes about this recruitment are settled only in the Delhi High Court.
