NCRTC Assistant Manager Civil Recruitment 2026: Overview
National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is hiring an Assistant Manager Civil for its Namo Bharat programme under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. This is a regular-scale contractual role connected with the regional rapid-transit network across the National Capital Region. The Delhi Meerut corridor is already in commercial operation, while the wider programme also covers the planned Delhi Gurugram SNB Alwar and Delhi Panipat Karnal corridors, giving the civil team exposure to a large, live transport system.
Your work can span elevated viaducts, stations, tunnels, depots and related infrastructure. NCRTC is looking for someone who understands both site execution and the contract side of complex construction, including measurement, quality checks, utility shifting and BOQ preparation. Experience with FIDIC or non-FIDIC contracts is especially relevant because the role involves progress monitoring, correspondence and early handling of disputes.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract tenure: The initial engagement is for five years and may be extended when the Corporation needs the role and your performance supports continuation. The appointment does not create a right to regularisation.
- Posting and shifts: You may work at any NCRTC office, workplace or project unit, including a subsidiary or joint venture, and the assignment may include shift operations.
- Experience calculation: Government-sector experience receives full weight, while private-sector experience receives partial weight when NCRTC works out your qualifying service.
- Employment background: Teaching and freelance work do not count as qualifying experience. Applicants from the private sector must be able to support the required CTC through the prescribed income and salary records.
- Service commitment: The selected person must sign a bond covering a minimum service period, training cost and the applicable company conditions.
- Travel: NCRTC will not pay TA or DA for attending the test, and you attend the allotted centre at your own expense.
