Posts and Disciplines

• Ayurvedic Pharmacist: Manage Ayurvedic medicines from receipt and safe storage through dispensing and supply. The role includes coordinating with authorised medical officers, checking labels and packs, and following Ayurvedic drug-safety procedures.
• Homoeopathic Pharmacist: Handle Homoeopathic warehouse stock, including receipt, systematic storage, issue, dispatch and returns. You will work with warehouse, logistics, procurement and healthcare teams to keep medicine distribution accurate and timely.

Post-wise Duties

Ayurvedic Pharmacist

You will dispense medicines against valid instructions, manage stock rotation and check physical stock against the records. A major part of the job is protecting medicine quality and patient safety by identifying expired, damaged, recalled or suspect products and separating them correctly.

You will also prepare warehouse and consumption reports, support audits and inspections, and coordinate with medical officers, suppliers and store teams. Good documentation and careful stock handling matter throughout the role.

Homoeopathic Pharmacist

You will receive and record medicines, verify batch and expiry information, arrange stock and support replenishment planning. Before dispatch, you will check quantities, batches and expiry details and keep clear records for issues, transfers, returns and undelivered stock.

The role also involves reporting discrepancies and storage concerns, helping with stock-taking and supporting quality checks. You will coordinate with healthcare facilities and supply teams so that warehouse stock reaches the right destination on time.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract: The initial engagement is for one year. Renewal is possible but is not automatic.
• Citizenship: The call is for citizens of Meghalaya, and preference is given to Meghalaya domicile holders.
• Experience flexibility: The authority may relax the prescribed experience when too few applicants meet it.
• Testing: Applicants may be asked to take a written and/or practical test before interview shortlisting.
• Original records: Shortlisted applicants must produce original certificates and testimonials at the interview.
• Field work: Travel may be needed for inspections, stock verification and related assignments.
