MHADA Retired Deputy Engineer Civil Recruitment 2026: Overview
Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) is preparing a panel of Retired Deputy Engineers in Civil Engineering for temporary contract appointments. The panel will support ongoing and planned projects of its regional boards, along with redevelopment projects of the Mumbai Building Repairs and Reconstruction Board. Appointments will depend on the staffing needs and requests of these projects.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Panel arrangement: MHADA will draw officers from the panel for contract appointments as work requires. You should understand the panel as a pool for project requirements, with appointments linked to the authority's needs.
- Initial tenure: Each appointment is for 1 year. This is a temporary contract engagement under the arrangement described in the notice.
- Renewal: MHADA may renew the appointment each year if it needs the service for longer. The total engagement cannot exceed 3 years.
- Governing conditions: The Maharashtra Government's General Administration Department resolution dated 10 June 2025 governs the engagement. The application includes your acceptance of those conditions and of changes MHADA makes according to its requirements.

You can deliver your application in person during office hours to the Office of the Secretary, MHADA, Room 523, Fourth Floor, Grihanirman Bhavan, Kalanagar, Bandra East, Mumbai 400051. This is the receiving office named in the notice for the panel applications.
The notice also permits submission by email to adm.off.mhada@gmail.com. You can use this email route as an alternative to handing in the application at the named office.
