Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS) is engaging Teaching Associates in its College of Dairy Science and Technology at Hisar. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Limited teaching role: You will work under the concerned Head of Department and the Dean. Your assignment is restricted to teaching support; it does not include governance, administrative functions or duties reserved for regular faculty.
• End of engagement: The appointment ends with the academic year in June 2027 and cannot run beyond one year. The notice rules out extension, interim arrangements and ad hoc continuation after that period.
• No claim to regular appointment: This engagement gives you no right to regularisation, absorption or another appointment at LUVAS. It also creates no claim to preference or extra weight in future recruitment.
• Notice period: The university can discontinue the engagement with 15 days' notice. You must also give 15 days' notice before leaving; a shortfall allows the university to recover pay equivalent to the missing notice period.
• Leave: You may take 15 casual leave days and 2 restricted holidays for a full academic year, reduced proportionately for a shorter engagement.
• Place of work: The listed units are in the college at Hisar. The university may assign duties elsewhere within its jurisdiction if administrative needs call for it.
• Reservation: Applicants from outside Haryana will be treated as General category applicants. Check the category attached to your chosen discipline when deciding which position to apply for.
• Conduct: Regular attendance is required. Unsatisfactory work or conduct may lead to termination after you receive an opportunity to be heard.
• Joining: You must report within 15 days of the appointment order. Failure to join can lead to withdrawal of the offer and consideration of a waitlisted applicant.
• Recruitment discretion: LUVAS may change the number of positions, withdraw positions or leave them unfilled. Meeting the stated requirements does not guarantee an interview call or appointment.
• Travel: The university will not reimburse travel or daily expenses for attending the interview or presentation.
