KVIC Ranchi Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), an organisation under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, is engaging experts at its State Office in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The roles support the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), which helps people set up small businesses and village units with bank loans.

Three kinds of experts are wanted: a Technical Expert, a Marketing Expert and a Retired Bank Official. All three are contract engagements, and the notice does not say how many people will be taken for each role. Posts and Disciplines

Post-wise Duties

Technical Expert

You will act as a mentor to units set up under PMEGP, guide new and existing entrepreneurs on choosing viable projects, explain the scheme's benefits and procedure, advise on modern technology and management practices, and keep track of each unit's progress.

Marketing Expert

You will plan and run marketing campaigns — email, social media, digital campaigns and events — study market trends, prepare sales material and product collateral, write and edit content, and work with outside agencies and vendors. The role involves travel as needed.

Retired Bank Official

You will help entrepreneurs prepare detailed project reports so that fewer loan applications are rejected by banks, speed up the application process, give handholding support to new and old units, and monitor their progress.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: The engagement runs until 31 March 2027. It may be extended based on your performance.
• Local language: All three roles expect you to be well-versed in the local language of the state; the Technical Expert also needs good command of the official language.
• Scheme knowledge: Technical Experts need working knowledge of PMEGP guidelines and procedure and of machinery, raw materials and production processes.
• Lump-sum pay: Pay is a consolidated monthly amount; for the Retired Bank Official it depends on whether the posting city is a metro.
• Accuracy of details: If any detail in your application is found false after you join, the contract can be ended without notice.
