Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) is hiring 2 Assistant/Cashier posts for Kerala Kerakarshaka Sahakarana Federation Limited (KERAFED). This is a Second NCA (community-quota) notification restricted to regular employees of KERAFED member societies belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Muslim communities. KPSC has released a Second NCA (Notification for Community Adjustment) for the post of Assistant/Cashier at Kerala Kerakarshaka Sahakarana Federation Limited (KERAFED), a Kerala cooperative federation. This is the second such notification because the first NCA (Gazette dated 31.07.2025, Cat. No. 233/2025 and 234/2025) could not find enough eligible candidates from the Scheduled Caste and Muslim communities for the vacancies reserved for them under the original rank list published on 29.01.2025 (Category No. 096/2023). This post is not open to the general public — only regular employees of KERAFED-affiliated member co-operative societies, belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Muslim community, are eligible to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Eligibility restriction: Only regular employees of Member Societies affiliated to KERAFED, belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Muslim community, can apply. You must still be in service of the member society both on the date of application and on the date of appointment.
• Experience: You need at least 3 years of regular service in any cadre of a KERAFED member society.
• Qualification (any one of the following): A Degree in Commerce or a Master's Degree in Arts with Co-operation as a special subject; OR a BA/B.Sc/B.Com Degree plus an HDC/HDCM in Co-operative Training (or Junior Diploma in Co-operation); OR a Diploma in Rural Services with Co-operation as an optional subject; OR a B.Sc in Co-operation and Banking from a UGC-recognized institution.
• You must upload a Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General), Co-operative Department, confirming your years of service, at the time of application submission.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 50 years old. Only candidates born between 2 January 1976 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included) can apply for this post.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 41,500 per month as per the applicable pay scale for this post.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per applicable rules.

Selection Process

Your selection will follow KPSC's standard rank-list process, done on a statewide basis:

1. Ranking: KPSC prepares a rank list of eligible Scheduled Caste and Muslim community candidates from KERAFED member societies, based on their qualifications and service record.
2. Written/OMR/Online Test (if conducted): If KPSC decides a test is needed for this selection, you must confirm you will write the exam through your OTR profile to receive your admit card.
3. Document Verification: When called, you must produce your original Service Certificate along with documents proving your qualification, community, and age.

If selected, you will be on probation for 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years from the date you join duty, as per KCS Rule 184.

How to Apply

1. Go to the KPSC portal at keralapsc.gov.in.
2. If you are a new user, complete One Time Registration (OTR). If you have already registered, log in with your User-ID and password.
3. Upload a recent photograph (taken within 6 months) if you are creating your profile for the first time.
4. Obtain your Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General), Co-operative Department, and upload it with your application.
5. Find Category No. 108/2026 (SC) or 109/2026 (Muslim) in the Notification Link and click on 'Apply Now'.
6. Fill in your application and submit it — no application fee is required.
7. Take a printout or save a soft copy of your submitted application for future reference.
