The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released a notification (Category No. 056/2026) to fill 1 Private Secretary to Managing Director post in the Kerala State Poultry Development Corporation Limited. This is a direct recruitment for a permanent government-sector job in Kerala. If you have stenography and typing skills along with a Plus Two pass, this is a good chance to join a state corporation with a stable career. Who Can Apply?

You must meet all three qualification points below to apply for this post:

• Educational Qualification: You must have passed Plus Two (Higher Secondary) or an equivalent.
• Typewriting: Lower Grade Certificate (KGTE) in Typewriting Malayalam and English with Computer Word Processing, or an equivalent.
• Shorthand: Lower Grade Certificate (KGTE) in Shorthand Malayalam and English, or an equivalent.

If you passed the KGTE Typewriting exam before January 2002, you must produce a separate certificate in Computer Word Processing (or equivalent) obtained after a course of at least 3 months. Higher or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government or accepted by the Commission are also valid — you may be asked to produce the relevant Government order at the time of verification.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old.
• Only candidates born between 2 January 1986 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included) can apply.
• Age Relaxation: OBC and SC/ST candidates get the usual age relaxation as per Kerala PSC rules.
• Provisional hands already working in the Corporation get age relaxation equal to their provisional service, up to a maximum of 5 years above the upper age limit, subject to conditions. Regular employees of the concern do not get this concession for further appointment.

Salary

• The pay scale for this post is Rs. 9,940 - Rs. 16,580 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per the rules of the Kerala State Poultry Development Corporation Limited.
• Your service will be governed by the rules and regulations made by the Corporation from time to time.

Selection Process

Selection is done by the Kerala Public Service Commission through a ranked list:

1. Written / OMR / Online Test (if conducted): If the Commission holds a test, you must submit a confirmation for writing the exam through your One Time Registration profile. Only candidates who confirm can download the admission ticket, which is available in the last 15 days before the test.
2. Ranked List: The Commission publishes a ranked list of selected candidates. This list stays in force for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years.
3. Document Verification: You must produce original documents for qualification, age, community and experience when the Commission calls for them.

4% of the total vacancies are reserved for eligible Persons with Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The selected candidate will be on probation for 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years.
