ITI Kurud Guest Lecturer Recruitment 2026: Overview

Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Kurud is the nodal institute for Dhamtari district, Chhattisgarh, and it is calling applications for Guest Lecturers to finish the trade training for the 2026-27 session. The openings are in two vehicle trades — Mechanic Diesel and Mechanic Electric Vehicle — at two separate government ITIs in the district. These are the posts left vacant after counting regular, contract and existing guest training officers, so the institute needs them filled for the current batch.

This is a guest engagement paid by the hour, not a regular or contract post. If you hold an NTC, NAC, B.Voc, diploma or degree in the right trade, along with a valid light motor vehicle (LMV) driving licence, you can apply.

Posts and Disciplines

• Mechanic Diesel (ITI Magarlod): you train students in diesel engine and vehicle mechanics. A trade certificate in the matching trade, or a degree or diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, fits this post.
• Mechanic Electric Vehicle (ITI Jamgaon): you train students in the electric vehicle trade. Along with NTC/NAC holders, B.Voc holders and holders of a relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT can apply, as can Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma holders.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Domicile: You must be a native resident (mool niwasi) of Chhattisgarh and attach a residence certificate issued by the competent authority.
• Tenure: A guest lecturer is invited as needed for one training session at most. The engagement ends on its own if the government posts a regular, transferred or contract officer to that seat.
• Equivalence of trades: Whether your trade or qualification counts as equivalent is decided under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Training (Non-Gazetted) Class III Recruitment Rules, 15 May 2019.
• SCVT-only candidates: Applications from candidates who have passed only the state vocational examination are not accepted.
• CTI/ATI preference: Where the rules need a one-year CTI/ATI certificate, certificate holders are ranked first; others are considered only if no CTI/ATI holder is available.
• Conduct: The principal can end your engagement after giving you a hearing if your teaching or conduct is not satisfactory.
• Criminal cases: You must disclose any pending criminal case with the form; hiding one leads to removal from training work.
• Waiting list: If a selected candidate does not join within the given time, the next person on the waiting list gets the chance.

Use only the prescribed application form attached to the notice, plus the affidavit (shapath patra) on its last page. Hand it in yourself at ITI Kurud, Charmudiya Road, near Kurud Railway Station, District Dhamtari 493663 during office hours, or send it by India Post to the Principal.

Fill a separate form for each trade and each institute — a form that names more than one trade or institute is rejected. Write your mobile number clearly, because selected candidates are informed by phone and the merit list goes up on the institute notice board. Late postal deliveries are your own risk.
