IOP Postdoc and Research Associate NPT Recruitment 2026: Overview

Institute of Physics (IOP), Bhubaneswar is recruiting Postdoctoral Fellows and Research Associates for its Nuclear Physics Theory (NPT) Group. These are project-based appointments under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) physics research programme, identified as RIO 4004.

• Extension review: The review after your first year follows institute rules. A possible third year depends on both your performance and funding, so you should treat the initial appointment and any later extension as separate decisions.
• Accommodation: Campus housing depends on availability. The offer does not guarantee an institute residence.
