IIT Roorkee Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) is hiring a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for a project in its Electronics and Communication Engineering department. Led by Prof. Darshak Bhatt and sponsored by ANRF, the project focuses on optical transceivers designed for communication aboard satellites and between satellites. The research target is 100+ Gbps, making high-speed optical communication the central theme of this project appointment.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project tenure: The notice gives a duration of 2 years and 6 months. You would join the named research project through this fellowship appointment.
- Doctoral study: You may get an opportunity for PhD admission after selection. The notice describes this as a possibility, so you should not treat selection for the fellowship as confirmation of a doctoral place.
