Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) is hiring a Research Associate in its Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science. The appointment supports an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) project on cost-effective, high-performance sodium-ion batteries for scalable energy storage. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: Your initial appointment will be for one year. It can continue for an additional year if you and the institute both agree; the notice does not promise an automatic extension.
• Research context: The project connects sodium layered oxide cathodes with prototype full-cell development. Its positive electrode work is paired with commercial hard carbon as the negative electrode, within the wider goal of scalable energy storage.

• Synthesize sodium layered oxide cathodes with the required microstructure.
