Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) is hiring a Senior Consultant for Corporate Relations in its Office of Alumni and Corporate Relations. This is a senior contractual role supporting the institute's work with industry, government bodies, alumni and other external partners. You will report to the Dean of Alumni and Corporate Relations and help turn outreach discussions into organised partnerships, agreements and institutional support. The role combines relationship management with hands-on administration, so it suits someone who can speak confidently with stakeholders while also keeping files, approvals and follow-ups under control.

Corporate engagement is the centre of this assignment. The office needs someone who can coordinate memoranda of understanding, research collaboration agreements, vendor registration and fundraising discussions without losing track of internal approvals. Your work will connect external organisations with faculty members, departments and administrative teams across the institute. The notification also places weight on clear reporting, accurate records and measurable follow-through rather than relationship building alone.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract tenure: The first engagement is for 11 months. IIT Hyderabad may extend it when your performance is satisfactory and the institute still needs the position.
• Exit terms: Either side may end the contract with one month's notice. This temporary engagement does not create a right to regular employment at the institute.
• Working schedule: The assignment normally requires eight hours a day and six days a week. You may also need to work on weekends or holidays when the office informs you.
• Experience assessment: Only work completed after the qualifying degree is counted. Part-time work is not treated as relevant experience for this recruitment.
• Shortlisting: IIT Hyderabad may use higher qualification or experience standards when it receives many applications. Being called for a test or interview does not guarantee selection.
• Campus support: Contract staff do not automatically get institute housing. Campus accommodation may be considered only when the service need, availability and licence-fee conditions permit it.
• Health cover: The selected person must maintain a valid health-insurance policy at personal cost throughout the engagement and give a copy at joining.
• Travel: IIT Hyderabad will not pay TA or DA for attending the selection process.
