IIT Gandhinagar's Research & Development Office has released Advertisement No. OTH/12057/Advt0301, dated 19 August 2026, for 1 Project Associate-I post under the Centre for Creative Learning project, led by Prof. Manish Jain. This is a temporary, project-based position for a duration of 1 year, filled as per Institute eligibility norms. The role focuses on recruitment and talent acquisition for the project team, so candidates with a strong HR/recruitment background are a good fit, even without a technical degree.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Sc / B.C.A. / B.Com / B.A. or an equivalent degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience, of which at least 3 years must be in independently managing end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition — including job advertisement preparation, candidate sourcing, resume screening and shortlisting, interview scheduling and coordination, candidate communication, and offer and onboarding management.
• Marks: You need at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) from graduation onwards, and 55% in Class 10 and 12.
• Desirable: Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, research, or academic positions; sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri Recruiter, or Indeed; maintaining recruitment databases and applicant tracking records; strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills; working knowledge of Google Workspace; and excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Note: Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting — the Institute may apply a higher cutoff based on the number of applications received.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 80,000, depending on your qualification and experience.
• The appointment is for a duration of 1 year.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a written test at the IIT Gandhinagar campus.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the written test will be called for a personal interview.
