IIT BHU SRF and Postdoctoral Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi (IIT BHU) is recruiting a Senior Research Fellow/Postdoctoral Fellow for a project in its Department of Electronics Engineering. The research focuses on a test-bed for RIS-enabled joint sensing and communication systems, under the project titled Empowering Sixth Sense Capabilities of Communication Network: Design and Development of Test-Bed for RIS-enabled Joint Sensing and Communication Systems.
The project receives support through TTDF, an initiative under the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. First-class BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a concerned/allied discipline with 2 years of research experience; alternatively first-class MTech and BTech in these areas with 2 years of research experience, or first-class PhD in these areas with 3 years of research experience.

Strong fundamentals of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), physical-layer design for wireless systems, synchronization techniques for communication and sensing, and FPGA-based implementation of ISAC systems.
