IIM Indore Project Positions Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) is building a multidisciplinary team for project execution, monitoring and field verification. The recruitment brings senior project leadership, sector advisers, technical specialists and early-career field staff into one project structure. Most field capacity comes from engineers and ITI professionals, while the senior profiles guide quality, risk review and institutional learning.

This is not a campus administration recruitment. The team is being hired only for the project, with work centred on infrastructure review, data reconciliation, site verification and reporting. You should expect coordination across technical and management streams, along with field visits or project-related travel where your role needs it.

Posts and Disciplines

• Project Manager: leads delivery, coordinates field teams and keeps project outputs and reports on schedule.
• Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists: build monitoring systems, reconcile data, track delayed-project risks and turn evidence into reports.
• Advisors: bring senior input from civil, water, public health, mechanical, environmental, architecture or planning domains.
• Technical Experts: review designs and specifications, support physical checks and assess infrastructure quality and long-term operation.
• B.Tech Engineers and ITI Professionals: carry out ground-level site verification, collect data and photographs, and record first observations.

Post-wise Duties

Project Manager

You will direct the end-to-end project workflow, align specialist and field teams, monitor delivery and consolidate reports for decision-makers.

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists

You will maintain monitoring and reporting systems, reconcile information from different sources, update risk registers and help shape strategic recommendations.

Advisors

You will provide high-level sector review, assess institutional capacity and operation-and-maintenance sustainability, and draw lessons for future implementation.

Technical Experts

You will conduct technical assessments and quality audits, review specifications, support physical verification and examine whether assets can be sustained after project completion.

B.Tech Engineers and ITI Professionals

You will visit sites, collect field data and photographic evidence, support data-quality checks and record observations for review by the specialist team.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project-only engagement: Every appointment is temporary, contractual and co-terminus with the project; it creates no right to regular employment or absorption at IIM Indore.
• Role tenure: The Project Manager and monitoring profiles cover the full seven-month project cycle. Advisors and technical experts start with four months and may continue up to seven months, while field roles begin with three months and can receive up to two more months.
• Phased hiring: Positions may be filled in stages as project needs arise, and the Institute may change the number filled or leave positions vacant.
• Early discontinuation: Engagement may end before the indicated tenure with 15 days' notice, depending on project need or performance.
• Profile labels: Senior and junior labels do not create a fixed reporting hierarchy; the Project Manager will organize reporting around project requirements.
• Selection discretion: Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee a call. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and canvassing leads to disqualification.
