Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) is hiring a full-time In-charge for its Professional Development Centre at Gift City, Gandhinagar. The contract role is meant for a serving or retired banking and finance professional who can combine academic work, industry outreach and centre administration. You will represent IIBF's training presence in Gift City, working with banks and their staff-training colleges while supporting the Institute's courses and examinations.

The role calls for senior banking exposure rather than only classroom experience. Your background may be in treasury, risk, forex, audit, credit, infrastructure finance, compliance, artificial intelligence, machine learning or information technology. This broad specialisation list reflects the centre's need to serve working finance professionals across technical and management subjects.

Alongside programme delivery, the centre needs someone who can shape course content and assessment material. You may conduct seminars, workshops and contact classes, review courseware and multiple-choice questions, contribute to publications, and handle training sessions. The position also links academic work with membership outreach, so you will coordinate with banks to explain IIBF examinations and bring new members into the Institute's programmes.

This is also a centre-lead role. You will oversee the day-to-day administration of the Gift City PDC, respond to member queries and coordinate with the Director (Training). The notice makes clear that the job profile is indicative, which means IIBF may adjust the mix of academic and administrative work as its programmes evolve.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: The initial full-time engagement is for three years. IIBF may extend it one year at a time for up to two more years, subject to its need, satisfactory performance and the stated upper service-age condition.
• Early termination: Either side may end the contract by giving one month's notice.
• Leave: The post carries 15 days of leave in a year. It cannot be encashed, and IIBF's rules for full-time contract officers apply.
• Work location: Your regular workplace will be the IIBF Professional Development Centre at Gift City, Gandhinagar.
• Interview travel: Shortlisted outstation applicants called to Mumbai may claim economy-class return airfare; local travel is not covered.
• Institute discretion: IIBF may shortlist applicants or cancel the recruitment process, and its decision on shortlisting is final.
