Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: Your appointment lasts for 89 days or until the regular doctor joins, whichever happens first. Plan around this limited engagement rather than assuming a longer posting.
• Possible extension: Continued service beyond the initial term depends on the Health and Family Welfare Department rules and a satisfactory report on your work and conduct.
• Joining: You must be ready to join immediately. The hospital allows a maximum of 7 days after the offer letter; if you do not join within that period, the offer is cancelled automatically.
• Waiting panel: The hospital will prepare a panel for future Senior Resident openings. It remains valid for 6 months or until another selection exercise takes place, whichever is earlier.
• Previous residency: If fresh applicants in the specialty are unavailable, doctors who have already completed 3 years of senior residency may be considered under the relaxation provisions cited in the notice.
• Travel costs: The hospital will not pay TA/DA for attending the interview. You need to arrange your own travel.
• Changes and decisions: The hospital may change or cancel the advertisement. Its selection board or Medical Director makes the final selection decision, and legal disputes fall under Delhi or New Delhi courts.
• Accuracy of information: False statements or deliberately withheld information can lead to cancellation of your appointment or termination of service.
