ICFRE has revised the CoE-SLM RA-III/JRF walk-in interview to 15 June 2026. Database Manager has been withheld; current open posts are 2 RA-III and 2 JRF.

ICFRE CoE-SLM has revised the walk-in interview schedule for Research Associate-III and Junior Research Fellow posts to 15 June 2026. The revised official advertisement lists 2 RA-III posts and 2 JRF posts for the period June 2026 to May 2027, extendable up to one year with approval. The Database Manager post from the earlier advertisement has been withheld due to administrative reasons. The 05 June 2026 corrigendum revises the RA-III qualifications: Ecology/SLM requires a doctorate in Forestry, Agriculture, Life Science, Engineering or related disciplines, or 3 years research/teaching experience after post-graduation in those disciplines in first class; Web/Knowledge Platform requires a doctorate in Computer Science, IT, Web Technologies or related disciplines, or 3 years research/teaching experience after post-graduation in those disciplines in first class. RA-III carries Rs.67,000 per month plus HRA as per rules, and JRF carries Rs.37,000 per month plus HRA as per rules.

  • Carry out research on ecology, restoration and sustainable land management for the CoE-SLM project
  • Build and maintain web platforms, portals, dashboards and knowledge systems for the project
  • Manage project databases, handle web-based data and support digital platforms
  • Collect and analyse field data on vegetation and land degradation
  • Apply GIS and remote sensing tools for land and biodiversity assessment
  • Prepare reports, documentation and technical write-ups
  • Support workshops, training programmes and project coordination

पात्रता मानदंड

न्यूनतम योग्यता

M.Sc with NET / Ph.D / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / Diploma in IT or related field (varies by post)

वांछित योग्यता

Experience in GIS, remote sensing, land degradation assessment, web platform development, or database management depending on the post

आवश्यक कौशल

GIS and remote sensing, statistical analysis, web platform development, database management (SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL), data visualization, report writing

आयु सीमा

18 - 35 वर्ष (30 अप्रै. 2026 तक)

This is a walk-in recruitment. You need to appear in person on 3 June 2026 at CoE-SLM, ICFRE, Dehradun. Report by 9:00 AM for document verification.

RA-III posts pay Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA, the Database Manager gets Rs. 50,000 per month plus HRA, and the JRF posts pay Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA.

It depends on the post. RA-III (Ecology) needs a Ph.D or M.Sc with NET plus 5 years experience. The web and database posts need a B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA with relevant experience. JRF needs a postgraduate degree with NET or GATE.

There is no online form. Fill the application in the prescribed format, attach self-attested certificates and 3 photos, and reach CoE-SLM, ICFRE, Dehradun by 9:00 AM on 3 June 2026 for the walk-in interview.

There is no written exam. Selection is through document verification followed by a walk-in interview on 3 June 2026. The interview starts at 11:00 AM.
