HLL Accounts Assistant and Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview
HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL), a Mini Ratna central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is hiring Accounts Assistants and Accounts Officers for the Retail Business Division (RBD) operations in Kolkata. Both posts are on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis, and selection is held as a walk-in in Kolkata with a short written test.
HLL wants people who already work in accounts and finance. Freshers cannot apply, because both posts ask for post-qualification experience at a reputed establishment.
Posts and Disciplines
- Accounts Assistant: the junior post, open to commerce graduates (B.Com) who have already handled accounts and finance work.
- Accounts Officer: the senior post, open to M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA (Inter) and CMA (Inter) holders with a longer accounts and finance background.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract basis: Appointment is on a Fixed Tenure Contract, not a regular post.
- Posting: Kolkata is the proposed place of posting, but HLL can change it as per business needs.
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
- Cut-off date: The same date used for the age limit is also used to count your qualification and post-qualification experience.
- Community certificate: SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must bring the original community certificate issued by the Revenue Authorities; without originals you will be disqualified from the selection test.
- Screening at the venue: Only candidates with the relevant qualification and experience will be allowed to sit the written test.
- Vacancies can change: HLL may increase or reduce the number of posts, change the selection process, or not fill the posts at all.
- Canvassing: Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification.

परीक्षा पैटर्न
The written test is an objective MCQ paper for both the Accounts Assistant and Accounts Officer posts. You will get 30 minutes to finish it, and it carries a maximum of 50 marks.
Negative Marking: None — wrong answers do not cost you marks.
Qualifying Marks: You need at least 25% of the total marks to qualify.
Exam Type: Objective (Multiple-Choice Questions)
