Government College Daman Assistant Professor English Recruitment 2026: Overview
The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is hiring one Assistant Professor in English for Government College, Daman, to teach postgraduate Arts courses on a Short Term Contract (STC) of six months. This is a stop-gap engagement to keep the PG English classes running, not a regular faculty appointment. Candidates who already hold NET/SET/SLET or a PhD in English, with a first-class Master's degree, are the target audience.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Tenure: The engagement runs on a Short Term Contract basis for a fixed period.
- No regularization: Selected candidates cannot claim regularization or a permanent post later — they must sign an agreement/contract for the engagement period.
