ESIC Super Specialty Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview
Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is hiring Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor faculty for the super specialty departments at its Medical College and Hospital in Basaidarapur, New Delhi. This is a contractual faculty engagement covering medical and surgical specialties. - Professor: Departments include Burns and Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Gastroenterology, Neonatology, Neurology, Nephrology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Paediatric Surgery, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Urology and Surgical Oncology.
- Associate Professor: The department list includes Burns and Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, Paediatric Surgery, Neonatology, Nephrology, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Neurology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Urology and Medical and Surgical Oncology. The notice repeats Paediatric Surgery in separate rows; ask ESIC to clarify the department allocation if this affects your application.

Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract tenure: The appointment can run for five years, subject to the service-age ceiling stated in the notice. The earlier limit ends the engagement.
- Regular appointments: This engagement does not give you a right to confirmation or continued employment. ESIC states that the posts are to be filled through regular appointments.
- Ending the contract: Either you or ESIC can end the engagement by giving one month's notice. Keep this condition in mind when planning a move from your current workplace.
- Private practice: You cannot carry on private practice while serving under this ESIC engagement. This restriction applies throughout your service tenure.
- End-of-tenure benefits: Completing the five-year contract does not create an entitlement to gratuity or other financial benefits under the stated contract terms.
- Joining: Be ready to join immediately after receiving an appointment offer. The notice does not promise a later joining window.
- Changes to the drive: ESIC may change the staffing requirement, move the interview centre or cancel recruitment. The advertised positions remain provisional.
- Attendance costs: You must meet your own travel costs for attending; ESIC will not pay travel or daily allowances.
- Application acceptance: An application does not guarantee an interview. Incomplete forms can be rejected, and false declarations can lead to cancellation at any stage.

- Pension Payment Order for retired applicants, as applicable.
- Equivalent teaching experience certificate from DGAFMS for retired Armed Forces Medical Services medical teachers.
- Application-fee demand draft where the fee applies.
