ESIC Medical College Indore has released notification for 101 Teaching Faculty and Senior Resident posts on contract basis. Posts include Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Senior Resident in Broad Specialty Departments. Candidates with MBBS and MD/MS/DNB can apply offline. Last date to apply is 02 March 2026. Age limit is up to 69 years.

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital, Indore has invited applications for 101 posts of Teaching Faculty and Senior Residents in Broad Specialty Departments. These posts are on contract basis for 1 year, which can be extended up to 3 years.

Qualification Needed

  • MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty
  • Valid NMC or State Medical Council registration is must
  • Professor: Experience as Associate Professor + research publications as per NMC norms
  • Associate Professor: Experience as Assistant Professor + research publications as per NMC norms
  • Assistant Professor: As per NMC norms
  • Senior Resident: Post-PG qualification, freshers can also apply

Age Limit (as on 02 March 2026)

  • Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor: Up to 69 years
  • Senior Resident: Up to 45 years

Salary (7th CPC)

  • Professor (Level 13): Rs. 1,23,100 per month
  • Associate Professor (Level 12): Rs. 78,800 per month
  • Assistant Professor / Senior Resident (Level 11): Rs. 67,700 per month
  • Allowances: NPA 20%, DA 58%, HRA 20%, TA Rs. 7,200 + DA

Note: These are contract posts. There is no PF, pension or gratuity benefit.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on Interview and Document Verification. There is no written exam.

Interview Schedule:

  • 09 March 2026: Pre-clinical departments -- Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Physiology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Pathology
  • 10 March 2026: Clinical departments -- General Medicine, Dermatology, OBG, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, ICU
  • 11 March 2026: Surgical departments -- General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Anaesthesiology, Accident & Emergency, Statistician

Application Fee

  • General / OBC: Rs. 500 (Demand Draft)
  • SC / ST / ESIC Insured / Defence / PH: No fee

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in the assigned department
  • Conduct lectures, practical sessions and clinical demonstrations
  • Provide patient care and clinical services in the hospital
  • Guide and supervise junior residents and interns
  • Carry out research work and publish papers in medical journals
  • Participate in academic activities, seminars and conferences
  • Handle examination duties as assigned by the college
  • Follow all NMC and institutional guidelines
  • Maintain proper records of teaching and patient care activities
  • Work in shifts and attend emergency duties as needed

पात्रता मानदंड

न्यूनतम योग्यता

MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty from a recognized university. Valid NMC or State Medical Council registration is mandatory.

Research publications in indexed journals as per NMC norms (required for Professor and Associate Professor posts).
