ESIC Manesar Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital, Manesar is recruiting doctors for its hospital in Gurugram, Haryana, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The notice brings together contractual Specialists, Senior Residents and a part-time Super Specialist through a common walk-in drive. You can consider full-time or part-time specialist engagement, depending on the post and the terms set out in the notice.
Posts and Disciplines
- Full-time or part-time Specialists: The departments are Anaesthesia, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pulmonology, Accident and Emergency or Casualty, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Surgery and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT). These are specialist appointments within the hospital’s respective departments.
- Senior Residents: The residency positions cover Anaesthesia, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Radiology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, General Surgery and ENT. The notice treats these as a separate engagement category from the contractual specialist posts.
- Part-time Super Specialist: This position is in Medical Oncology. The notice offers case-to-case and non-case-to-case engagement options, with different arrangements for additional payments.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Specialist tenure: Engagement can run for three years, with annual evaluation and renewal based on satisfactory performance. It may end earlier when a regular appointee joins.
- Resident tenure: Senior Resident contracts are renewed yearly based on performance, within the overall three-year limit. Non-PG Senior Residents are engaged for one year only.
- Super Specialist tenure: The part-time contract runs on yearly extensions within a three-year period. Check the engagement option carefully because the payment arrangements differ.
- Category contingency: If a suitable person from the advertised category is unavailable for a specialist post, the hospital may consider someone from another category for a short-term engagement.
- Private practice: The general instructions prohibit private practice of any kind. You should take this condition into account when considering the contract.
- Travel: The hospital will not reimburse travel or daily expenses for attending the interview.
- Administrative changes: The Medical Superintendent may change the vacancy position, fill some or no posts, change the interview conditions or cancel the interview.
- Provisional consideration: Being allowed to attend the interview does not establish a right to appointment. ESIC may cancel your candidature or engagement if a requirement is later found unmet.
Application Submission Notes
Report to the Office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Sector 3, Plot No. 41, IMT Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana. Reporting begins at 9:00 am, and the hospital will not admit candidates after 11:00 am.
You need a separate application for each post. If you already work as a Senior Resident in a government institution, apply through the proper channel; keep track of any further instructions issued by the hospital.
