ECHS Sri Ganganagar Staff Recruitment 2026: Overview
Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Sri Ganganagar, under the Ministry of Defence, is engaging staff for its local polyclinic. The employment notice covers Officer-in-Charge, Medical Officer and Dental Hygienist/Assistant appointments on an eleven-month contractual basis. You should read the conditions against your chosen post because the Officer-in-Charge appointment is specifically reserved for ex-servicemen.
Posts and Disciplines
- Officer-in-Charge: the polyclinic appointment is open only to ex-servicemen who meet the notified graduate and experience requirements.
- Medical Officer: the medical appointment at Sri Ganganagar carries its own MBBS and experience requirements.
- Dental Hygienist/Assistant: the dental appointment requires the diploma and experience stated in the notice.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Ex-servicemen: the notice gives preference to ex-servicemen across the engagement, with the separate mandatory restriction for Officer-in-Charge.
- Training before contract: selected individuals must complete ten days of unpaid on-job training and obtain a certificate from the Officer-in-Charge of the polyclinic before signing the contract. For the selected Officer-in-Charge, the Station Headquarters ECHS Cell issues the certificate.
- Interview communication: shortlisted candidates will receive the October interview date, time and venue separately. No TA/DA is admissible.
- Vacancy withdrawal: Station Headquarters ECHS Cell reserves the right to withdraw any advertised vacancy without notice.
