DPC NMA Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
District Programme Coordinator, North and Middle Andaman District (DPC NMA) is building a district and block-level team for the Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin). These are contractual roles supporting rural employment planning, engineering, digital records and Gram Panchayat delivery across North & Middle Andaman. The notice combines field, technical and office-based work in one recruitment, so you can choose the role that best matches your education and practical experience.
Posts and Disciplines
- Programme Officer: a block-level coordination role covering scheme delivery, Gram Panchayat performance, labour planning, inspections and reporting to the district team.
- Assistant Engineer: a civil-engineering role focused on estimates, drawings, site checks, measurements, technical scrutiny and quality control for rural works.
- Data Entry Operator: a digital operations role handling scheme MIS records, beneficiary and work data, dashboards, reports and secure record keeping.
- Gram Rozgar Sewak: a Gram Panchayat-facing role that connects rural households with work demand, job-card records, attendance, community meetings and asset tracking.
Post-wise Duties
Programme Officer
You will coordinate scheme implementation at block level, review physical and financial progress, bring delays or irregularities to the competent authority, and help field teams follow official procedures. The role also links Gram Panchayats, technical staff, self-help groups and line departments.
Assistant Engineer
You will prepare and scrutinise technical estimates, drawings and project proposals, inspect sites and record work measurements. You will also support geo-tagging, completion reporting, environmental safeguards and safe execution at worksites.
Data Entry Operator
You will keep MIS and digital-platform data accurate and current, compile progress reports, maintain backups and reconcile electronic entries with physical records. Your work supports reviews, audits, planning and day-to-day programme monitoring.
Gram Rozgar Sewak
You will work directly with the Gram Panchayat and rural households, help record work demand, update job cards and attendance, support Gram Sabha and social-audit activity, and maintain programme records. The job combines community contact with mobile-app and MIS work.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Local eligibility: the notice is open to local candidates, and proof of local residence must support your claim.
- Contract status: the engagement is purely contractual under the mission and gives no right to a regular appointment in the A&N Administration.
- Shortlisting: meeting the basic conditions does not guarantee selection; the committee will check documentary merit and the role-specific assessment.
- Assessment order: where a computer, trade or data-entry test applies, it will be held before the personal interview.
- Official updates: test and interview schedules will be announced separately on the A&N Administration and district websites.

परीक्षा पैटर्न
Data Entry Operator Skill Test
You will take a 15-minute computer-based qualifying test. You need a minimum speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour; the test carries no separate merit marks.
Gram Rozgar Sewak Computer Test
The practical test covers basic computer operations, MS Office, data entry and office or MIS tasks for 25 marks. You must qualify to be considered for final merit.
Interview: the personal interview carries 40 marks for Programme Officer and Assistant Engineer, and 30 marks for Data Entry Operator and Gram Rozgar Sewak.
