DIET Daman Lecturer Recruitment 2026: Overview
Directorate of Education, U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is hiring Lecturers for the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) at Daman, under the Teacher Education component of Samagra Shiksha, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Ministry of Education. The drive covers one Curriculum/Material Development and Evaluation post and one District Resource Unit for Adult Education/Non-Formal Education (DRU for AE/NFE) post, both purely on contract basis. Posts and Disciplines
- Lecturer (Curriculum/Material Development and Evaluation): works on curriculum design, textbook preparation and educational testing/evaluation for DIET Daman's elementary teacher-education programme. You'll need familiarity with elementary-level curriculum work, plus knowledge of English along with Gujarati, Marathi or Hindi.
- Lecturer (DRU for Adult Education/Non-Formal Education): anchors the District Resource Unit that runs extension and technical-support work for Adult Education and Non-Formal Education programmes across the Union Territory. This post also accepts candidates with a background in Social Work, Rural Development, Women's Studies or Communication/Journalism.
