Post-wise Duties

Driver

You will operate the Mobile Medical Unit vehicle, support its movement across assigned service areas and keep the vehicle ready for public-health visits. You will also use your basic repair knowledge to identify and handle minor routine faults where practical.

Microbiologist

You will support diagnostic laboratory services for epidemic-prone diseases, follow safe sample-handling practices and keep reliable test records. Your work helps the district health team recognise and respond to potential public-health risks.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract status: Each appointment is temporary and runs for 11 months; it does not give you a right to regular government service.
• Undertaking: Selected candidates must give a self-declaration accepting the temporary nature of the engagement.
• Vacancy changes: The District Health Society may alter the notified position details as administrative needs change.
• Place of work: You must work at the post assigned to you within the district, and the notice says transfer to another station will not be available.
• Role-specific conditions: The Driver needs the notified vehicle licences and basic repair knowledge, while the Microbiologist needs the stated diagnostic-laboratory background.
