DCPU Krishnagiri Support Person Recruitment 2026: Overview
District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Krishnagiri is forming a panel of Support Persons to help children affected by sexual offences during investigations and court proceedings. The engagement is part of the district’s child-protection work under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) framework and Tamil Nadu’s support-person arrangements. The child’s welfare, safety and rights guide this work, which involves staying connected with the child, family and the agencies handling the case.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Panel tenure: The engagement lasts for three years. You join an honorarium-based panel for case-related support, so the appointment should be understood in that context.
- Case allocation: Payment depends on cases being assigned and the work carried out on those cases. No honorarium is payable for periods when no case is assigned.
- Travel: The case-based honorarium includes travel expenses. Keep this condition in mind when considering the coordination needed between the child, family and the organisations involved.
- Child-centred support: Your work connects with the police, Child Welfare Committee, DCPU, hospitals and courts. These links help the child access the support described in the notice.
