DBRAU Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview
Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra (DBRAU) is engaging Guest Faculty across its institutes and departments for the academic session 2026-27 under advertisement RW/05/2026. The notice brings together teaching requirements under the university's regular and Self-Finance Scheme arrangements. These are guest engagements, and the university expressly rules out a claim to regular appointment.
Posts and Disciplines
- Basic sciences: The B.Sc. unit under Dean Science covers Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry and Statistics. Statistics also appears under ISS, while Physics has a separate M.Sc. department entry.

- Physical education and other institutes: The notice lists BPES and BPED, Travel and Tourism Management, Computer Science and IET, Applied English, Applied Art, Economics and Human Resource Management across the named units.
- College and vocational education: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Rajkiye Kanya Mahavidhyalay covers science, language, social science and commerce subjects. Commerce also appears under Dau Dayal Institute of Vocational Education.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Engagement status: You cannot claim a regular appointment or regularisation through this guest faculty engagement. The Self-Finance Scheme arrangement shares the teaching load on a period basis.
- Changes to the drive: The university may withdraw advertised positions, leave them unfilled or change the number of posts. An advertised requirement does not guarantee an appointment.
- Accuracy of claims: The university can check your records with the issuing authorities. False or incorrect records can lead to termination even after appointment.
- Travel: You must cover your own interview travel and daily expenses. The university will not reimburse these costs.
- Recruitment updates: Watch the university website for further announcements. The notice says it will not send separate individual updates or entertain interim correspondence.

Apply through https://dbraurec.samarth.edu.in, then send your form printout and self-attested supporting records to the Registrar (Residential Wing), DBRAU, Agra 282004, by Registered Post or Speed Post. Use a separate application and envelope for each post.
For the Self-Finance Scheme, you receive Rs. 600 per teaching period, subject to a monthly ceiling of Rs. 30,000. This ceiling is not a fixed monthly salary.
The notice gives a prescribed fee of Rs. 1,000 per post and directs you to follow the category instructions in the application. The fee is non-refundable.
