CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI), Bhavnagar is engaging project researchers for Bioresource Conservation and Prospection, a Mission Mode project sanctioned by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Posts and Disciplines

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project-linked tenure: The engagement is temporary and ends with the project. It does not give you a right to an extension or absorption into CSIR-CSMCRI. Consider this condition when assessing how the appointment fits your research plans.
• Combined service limit: Project work across CSIR-CSMCRI and other CSIR laboratories or institutes counts towards a combined maximum of six years. Moving between projects does not create a fresh service allowance under this notice.
• Doctoral study: The Project Associate-I notice allows consideration for enrolment with the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR). Admission remains conditional on AcSIR's own requirements; the project appointment does not automatically secure a doctoral place.
• Recruitment discretion: The Director's decisions on applications, participation and the conduct or cancellation of recruitment are final. The institute does not undertake to respond to individual enquiries challenging these decisions.
• Provisional staffing: The advertised staffing requirement can change. The Director may cancel some or all of the positions at any point, so the announcement should not be treated as a guaranteed appointment offer.
• Travel support: No travelling or daily allowance is provided for attending the interview.
