CSIR CGCRI Project Associate I Recruitment 2026: Overview
CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CSIR-CGCRI), part of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, is recruiting a Project Associate-I in Kolkata. This engagement is for OLP2302, an in-house project supported through the CSIR unit and laboratory framework. The project brings together data-enabled project management, smart technology transfer and commercialization.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project appointment: Your initial engagement will be for one year. It can continue until the project ends if your performance is satisfactory; an extension is conditional.
- Separate applications: If you apply against another position or advertisement as well, the institute wants a separate application for each. Keep the relevant advertisement and post code clear in your records.
- Prescribed format: CGCRI can reject an incomplete application or one that does not use its required format. The notice specifically calls for a typed form, so a handwritten form does not meet that instruction.
- Institute discretion: CGCRI may leave the position unfilled. It can also change the number of positions according to its needs, and its decision on this is final.
- Enquiries: The institute says it will not respond to interim enquiries about the recruitment. Use the published notice to plan your application and visit.
Application Submission Notes
Email the typed prescribed application form and its supporting attachments to recruitment.cgcri@csir.res.in. The email deadline is separate from the walk-in appointment; sending the form late will not be accepted.
The walk-in venue is CSIR-CGCRI, 196, Raja S. C. Mullick Road, Kolkata-32, and the interview starts at 2:30 pm. Report at least one hour earlier for checks, because the institute will not admit you after the reporting time.
